So my husband, Adam, whose client is Lego, has made sure to tell me a dozen times that the correct plural of Lego is NOT "Legos". I just wanted to get that bit out of the way.
Now, onto why the beautiful, white only version of these little building bricks have taken over my coffee table. Well, it all started last year when they had buckets of them on the High Line in NYC as part of their community art project. I am a sucker for anything in all white, and these perfectly shaded, Decorator White Lego were no exception. Here I was thinking I'd have to go and pick out all the white bricks from our giant bag in order to recreate this scheme, but I soon found out that that was totally unnecessary.
Enter into my world the beautiful Architecture Studio set (completely designed for grown up design whores like myself) and all was perfect. They now comfortably live in a beautiful white, modern tray on our big coffee table in the middle of the living room. Not only do they look great, but they are actually played with quite frequently by our kids and house guests (not to mention Adam and me). We like to have contests to see who can build the coolest modern house. And, what's better than decor that inspires people to design? Nada!
